Posos and Bow Medical announce strengthened partnership to support international expansion of Diane software suite by integrating Posos' multilingual drug database

Paris, 18/09/2024 - Posos, a medtech pioneer in artificial intelligence-assisted prescribing, and Bow Medical, a European leader in critical care computerization, today announced the strengthening of their strategic partnership. This new step will enable Bow Medical to draw on Posos' multilingual drug database to support its international development.

One year after integrating Posos' prescription transcription technology into its Diane anesthesia software, deployed in over 2800 operating rooms in France, Bow Medical has taken a further step in its partnership with Posos. The medtech company, which was selected as part of the France 2030 program and announced last December that it had received approval from the French National Authority for Health for its Posos Medical Database, will make this unique database available to Bow Medical.

Fully encoded in international terminologies (SNOMED-CT, ICD-10, MedDRA, ATC) and interoperable via application interfaces (APIs) complying with the highest interoperability standards, Posos' database is to date the only one designed to enable fast, simple integration in any language. This will enable Bow Medical to deploy its anesthesia software with the same advanced functionalities in any country, considerably reducing international development costs and delays.
